7955 Zuni Kachina c. 1920-30 This Zuni Kachina most likely depicts one of the Corn Dancers, as evidenced by the floral motif found on the cheeks of the figure. The figure is adorned with a variety of materials including a yarn ruff around the neck, a cloth sash and fetishes dangling from the belt. The piece is carved of pine and painted with mineral pigments. The feathers on the head are turkey and pheasant. 14" high. $6,800.00 |
