Yei Rug #6666
A beautiful rug with five Yei figures, surrounded by a Rainbow Guardian. The Yei figures are female (square heads). The use of five figures are the number that would dance in a ceremony and also represent the five worlds of the emergence in the Navajo (Dine') faith. The rainbow "Yei" that is around the five figures is also called the Changing Woman. Woven of four-ply Germantown wool yarn, aniline dyed.
